Putting the Pieces Together to Lead Organizational Change
It is not a secret that most people avoid change because changes are not easy and require a lot of commitment. I strongly believe that my students will benefit from my blended learning models innovation plan, but there are several crucial steps that will need to take place in order to ensure the overall success of my innovative change. Sinek (2009) tells us that many people and companies do not know ‘why’ they do what they do. Without my why statement the attempt at change could not work properly. It is a catalyst for teachers. It is about engagement. It takes courage. It is about reminding students that no matter how difficult it looks they can reach their goals.

My influencer strategy does just that while using the 6 sources of influence to provide the most effective ways to provide the motivation and ability needed to implement the plan successfully. In addition, it is important to remember that the best plans fail if they are not effectively executed.

The 4 disciplines of execution and the 6 sources of influences help to increase motivation and engage in participants. It is a way to measure the goals and make them successful. This plan along with my influencer strategy can provide a learner-centered atmosphere that will provide my students with the learning opportunities they need to be successful.
Finally, crucial conversation can occur anytime and anywhere. It is not limited to organizations or schools but can be used with a loved one or our families. The crucial conversations will help to create a respectful and significant environment for all parties to speak openly about benefits, concerns, facts, and opinions regarding the blended learning models in the classroom. We need to understand that crucial conversations are the keys that hold all of the other aspects together.
