What is Action Research?
As a teacher I am always looking for the best of my students, but I know the reflections about what I am doing is crucial to get better results. To be an effective and successful teacher we need to know if what We are doing in the classroom is right or not. Some time we need to make some adjustments, ask ourselves, Are students engaged? Are students focused on their task ? What are students learning? It is determined to reach our professional and students goals. Action research is the key for it. In addition, Action research helps teachers to measure the effectiveness of the activities in the classroom.
Once the teachers have the data or results it is the moment to make some changes or improvements, and the research continues to conduct in a cyclical nature. Based on results, educators plan for improvement, and the research continues to conduct in a cyclical nature. In other words, educators can improve their practices and feel more comfortable through planning, acting, developing, and reflecting. To learn more about this you can watch the next video below.
